Get your color contrast correct. Dark text on a dark background, light text on a light background, middle text on a middle background, zombie text on a zombie background; all of these make distinguishing between letterforms much harder for the site visitor, let alone hit the zombie with the full force of a font. Adding contrast between the text and the background can make your site more usable (and more deadly to the undead).
